Maximum property is one of the leading real estate companies in Istanbul, Turkey. Like all business and individuals around the world we had to form a response policy to the rapid changes coronavirus COVID-19 made to our personal and professional lives.
During the pandemic our sole concern has been the health of our employees, community and of course our clients as well. Our response policy has also been very proactive.
COVID-19 In Turkey
The first COVID-19 case in Turkey was announced on March 10th 2020, the cases number reach 2433 by March 25th with 59 deaths.
The Turkish government then decided to take the following measures:
- All education was moved to distant learning including schools and universities.
- Limiting and reducing stores working hours.
- Implementing remote work policies in the public and private sectors.
- Banning gatherings in parks and public arenas.
- Reducing the capacity of public transportation to 50%.
Due to the severe financial burden of COVID-19 the Turkish government announced the following measures:
- The government is to provide financial aid to 20 million families with low income.
- It also raised the salaries of the retirees and supported the minimum wage workers.
- Lifted the VAT tax on respirators and medical masks.
- Small companies, merchants and minimum wage earners will also receive financial aids.
Towards April 2020 Turkey started manufacturing ventilators locally to provide its local hospitals with the necessary equipment needed to battle the coronavirus.

Our response policy at Maximum Property was swift and proactive. The measures we took kept us and our clients safe and healthy. Our teams in all departments were working with full capacity to meet our clients’ needs.
- We moved to working remotely on the 15th of March 2020.
- We continued to secure exclusive offers from our partners in the construction companies.
- Keep our clients informed with regards to the changes happening in the Turkish real estate market.
- Our area team members continued to provide property tours to our clients while taking all necessary precautions.
We continued to study and monitor the Turkish real estate market and decided to add a new service to our services, buying a property online.
Buying a property online
With the support of the Turkish government and the commitment of our team we were able to launch a new service that helped our clients benefit from the great opportunities in the market from the comfort of their own homes.
The process of buying a property online with Maximum Property goes as follows:
- The client contacts us and asks for a virtual tour.
- The virtual tour starts from our offices in Istanbul with an explanation about the location of the project on the map.
- Then the client is taken to visit the project and see via a video call all the specifications of the project and the apartment they are interested in.
- The contracts are then signed and sent through mail services.
The government launched a new service at this time where all title deeds paperwork can be done online through the official website webtapu.tkgm.gov.tr
As we continue to battle the pandemic with the rest of the world, we are maintaining the highest quality of services through a professional and a knowledgeable team who put the safety of their community and clients at the top of their priorities.
Turkey also continues to fight the virus through its intensive vaccination campaigns, as the number of people who have received the vaccine in Turkey to date has reached about 73.3 million people, and those who received the first and second doses of the vaccine have reached 27.4 million people.
